Arguments are done… judges to rule soon

Both sides wrapped up before the 5th Court of Appeals in Dallas just now.

Most expect a decison from the judges soon.

We caught Wendy Davis after the court adjourned, and she seemed very confident of a win.

“I thought the court’s questions were indicative that they understand the law here,” the District 10 Senate candidate said. “I’m confident that they will rule as every other court has that I am eligible to run.”

Stay tuned to find out if incumbent Kim Brimer will win in his effort to disqualify Davis. Brimer has gone to court saying that she did not resign from her Fort Worth city council seat in time to qualify for the ballot. Davis and her camp say she absolutely did and this is just an effort from Brimer to avoid what is shaping up to be a tough fight at the ballot box.
