No decision on Wendy Davis today

The 5th Court of Appeals in Dallas will not hand down a decision today on state Sen. Kim Brimer’s move to disqualify challenger Wendy Davis.

Come back next week for updates.

It’s always a bit ridiculous for reporters to suggest how the legal system should operate but … come on. Shouldn’t this be cleared up by now? The first challenge to Davis’ candidacy came nine months ago. Here we are, less than five weeks from the election, and we don’t know yet if one of the candidates in a Texas state Senate race beat a filing deadline?
