Vo reports more money on hand than Meyers

Print This Post \\ Email This PostA Republican challenger has outraised and outspent Democratic incumbent state Rep. Hubert Vo in the third quarter of this year — but Vo has more money left to spend in the final weeks of the election.
GOP candidate Greg Meyers took in $105,756.57 in contributions between July 1 and Sept. 25, according to campaign finance reports posted online Monday afternoon by the Texas Ethics Commission. Meyers had spent $72,739.38, and had left $37,069.55 in donations, as of the last day of the reporting period (Sept. 25).
Meanwhile, Vo had raised a total of $97,620.51 during that period, and had spent $59,240.04, according to his report. He had $54,233.08 in contributions left as of Sept. 25, and also had an outstanding loan of $95,459.46.
The two men are running in House District 149.
