The Dallas Observer has a substantive profile and interview with Dallas County Republican Party chairman Jonathan Neerman, the man who wants to try to turn around the county's headlong slide into Democratic control. A securities litigation lawyer described as "Jewish, a quarter Chinese, a quarter Indian and all Aggie," he's got his work cut out for him.

On the Nov. 4 election:

"There's just no way to sugarcoat it," Neerman says. "We were Obama-ed. I'm using that as a verb now."
