We're glad to announce that we've got a location for our Jan. 17 blogger meetup: The Stags Head pub at 2128 Portsmouth St. (near Richmond Avenue and South Shepard Drive).

If you didn't see our previous posts about it, this is free, informal get-together for Houston-area bloggers and citizen journalists who are interested in learning more about how they can use open-records and open-meetings laws. If you blog about schools, local politics, the environment, or anything that has anything to do with government, we want to get to know you -- and see how we can help you, too.
