Time is running out to nominate your favorite comptroller/auditor/inspector general for the ProPublica Prizes for Investigative Governance! Nominations are due Jan. 31.

From ProPublica.org:

The prizes are being established to recognize excellence in investigative reports issued by governmental groups such as the Government Accountability Office, congressional committees, inspectors general, state attorneys general, special counsels and special prosecutors — at any level or branch of government.

Prizes will be awarded after judging by an independent, nonpartisan panel of journalists and former public officials, including former investigators. Winners will be recognized at an award luncheon in Washington, D.C.

If you're not familiar with them, ProPublica is a fairly new nonprofit journalism operation that has hired a dream team of America's top investigative journalists. They do a whole lot of really cool stuff. So go to their Web site for more details.

@Digidave Love your work and ideas, but is the couch necessary? It takes awhile to load (perhaps not after first cache). Otherwise, cool.
