Chronicle: Houston activist agrees with mayor on redistricting stance

A Houston lawyer who has successfully sued the city over past redistricting plans has taken an unexpected side in the latest battle over voting boundaries: He agrees with Mayor Bill White.


Frumencio Reyes, the dean of Houston-area redistricting litigation, said he believes the mayor made the right decision in putting off redistricting.
