Tarrant County College: Hit 'em upside the head and make 'em follow the law

This one has to go down as one of the all-time best quotes in a sunshine law case:



“You need to hit the trustees up side the head and tell them to follow the law."




That's from lawyer Harold Hammett, who, on Friday, argued that the contract extension for Tarrant County College's chancellor should be voided because it was approved during a meeting that violated the state's open meetings law.
