The Associated Press' Jay Root lets his readers know via his Twitter feed that Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst will at least disclose more of what he should on his annual ethics disclosure form.

Root writes:
Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst finally forms a blind trust, reveals his stake in Houston investment company.

That company -- Houston-based Falcon Seaboard -- is one we've been looking into very closely. We may publish something on this firm and Dewhurst's connections to it that our readers may find interesting.

In the meantime, keep following Root's reports on Dewhurst. Root has kept on Dewhurst -- and the powerful politician's flouting of the spirit of the ethics law -- doggedly and admirably.
