The disclosure forms detail financial activity for high-ranking city officials. The map includes forms for the members of City Council and the mayor.
The financial disclosures can be goldmines of information, and the section detailing real estate holdings put us on to our story earlier this week about three council members who were late paying property taxes. Who knows what you'll find if you dig into the disclosure for your council member?
You may also wish to read more about the city's initial efforts to conceal spouse information on the forms. Texas Watchdog wrote the Texas attorney general's office, which directed the city to release the disclosures in their full form.
