Want to see how much your local officials are spending on to lobby the federal government on transportation issues? The Center for Public Integrity has an awesome interactive map as part of their new investigative report, The Transportation Lobby. The map lets you zoom in on your community and see who's lobbying on transport issues -- whether it's the Metro system here in Houston or the I-69 Alliance in South Texas or the cities of Abilene, Midland or Harlingen, or the Amarillo Economic Development Corp. You can see how much is being spent this year and what lobbyists they've hired.
