Pound signs ('#') on Twitter and what they mean

Are you tired of seeing "#txlege" and "#tcot" and "#txsboe" in Twitter messages and not being able to figure out what all this stuff means with "#" in front of it? I've got a quick-and-dirty explainer that you need to read -- it's my newest post for the Society of Professional Journalists' Net Worked blog.
