An investigation of six to eight Houston Independent School District employees began after the district received an anonymous tip, which led investigators to a surveillance tape of HISD employees moving equipment from Key Middle School to another location. Officials say the proper policy was not followed in moving the equipment.

The surveillance video from the hallway exit near room 119 at the school, shows three unidentified people removing boxes and other equipment from the building.

Watch the video below or via the video player in the upper right-hand corner of our Texas Watchdog home page.

Some of the equipment has been located, the Houston Chronicle reports. Some of the equipment is still missing.

HISD says after investigators reviewed this and other video footage, more allegations of wrongdoing surfaced, including cheating on standardized tests and abuse of the federal free and reduced lunch program.

Also check out coverage by KPRC, which has posted some surveillance video.
