You know you’re in trouble when your own attorney says she can’t assist you – because she may be getting ready to press charges against you.
The legal misfortune has befallen Bexar County Commissioner Tommy Adkisson, according to the San Antonio Express News.

We noted Adkisson’s saga last week; He claims his private email account is not subject to the Texas Open Records Act, even if he is conducting public business through it.
The state Attorney General’s office says he’s wrong.
Adkisson’s response was to sue the AGs office. But Bexar County District Attorney Susan Reed said, no can do.
“As the attorney general, in his opinion, pointed out, there could be criminal violations,” she said. “I'm not suggesting that there are at this point, but because of that ... I'm required to withdraw.”
The article states Adkisson may be on his own, since it would take the approval of his commissioner colleagues to approve attaching the county to any legal action against the AG.
“I don't want the court dragged into Tommy's personal issues,” [Bexar]County Judge Nelson Wolff said Wednesday. “It's not a court issue, and I'm not going to support it. I don't want our name associated with it. It's something he's got to deal with, and I think he understands that.”
