Clearly, the Texas House was shaken by a warning letter from the Federal Trade Commission, voting 137-5 on a second reading to pass Senate Bill 8 to try a variety of health care reforms in-state. Good summary of a detailed PricewaterhouseCoopers survey on employers reacting to the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (link to survey provided). And perhaps the bucolic co-op known as Vermont will offer a litmus on the health care act. All that and more in today’s reading.
