
It seems that every day someone is finding something interesting in the sweeping health care bill that no one read before President Obama signed it. Like the 3 million middle-class Americans eligible for a near-freebie health care ride. Oops.
Abortion foes in the Texas House are fighting for amendments that are holding up Senate Bill 7, which includes a provision for Texas to enter into health care compacts with other states.
The Institute of Medicine thinks the government ought to prepare health impact reports for its policies, just like the EPA requires environmental impact statements.
And, as if to substantiate our warning about reports and surveys and such, people have little faith in our health care system. We’re assuming these aren’t the people surveyed recently who said they don’t want anything done about it.
