Searchable data: Outside work requests to Houston PD
Wednesday, Aug 29, 2012, 05:10PM CST
By Lee Ann O'Neal
Search the database for applications to the Houston Police Department to do outside work in 2010 and 2011. The tool will search for all records containing the text. A search for "Smi" in the Last Name field finds all records where "Smi" is somewhere in the last name.

From the results list, click on "Details" to see the full record from the HPD database. In the fields marking Disapproved applications, a blank field means the application was not disapproved.

If you'd rather scroll through all 37,000 applications for outside work, click here to view the data as a spreadsheet. (Warning for users with slower connections: The file is large and may take some time to load.)
