The Houston Independent School District is investigating possible cheating on standardized tests, the misuse of district funds, and missing equipment at Key Middle School, according to Superintendent Terry Grier.

Speaking at a press conference held this afternoon, Grier said the investigation of six to eight school district employees began after the district received an anonymous tip. The tip led investigators to surveillance tape of HISD employees moving equipment from Key Middle School to another location. The equipment is still missing, Grier said.
